Celebs + Crystals - Unearthed Crystals

Celebs + Crystals

Whether you’re a true believer, a slightly interested sceptic or even a “WTF is it with crystals?” type, there’s no denying that they are having a moment right now.  And in this 21st century, basically nothing hits the mainstream in quite the same way without support from the A-list.

Although we don't usually follow the crowd, we welcome the opportunity for learning, education, growth and for more people to be open to including crystals in their everyday life.

Miranda Kerr swears by her crystal’s healing properties (and travels with a Rose Quartz wand, which she calls “one of (her) most treasured items”), the Olsen twins once gifted the attendees of their runway show with palm stones, and don’t even get us started on Gwyneth (Jade egg anyone?).

These Hollywood celebs know a thing or two about the magickal powers of crystal energy…

Bella Hadid

Once posted a snap of her favourite crystals to Instagram to “(charge) with the bright and full pink moon” before a trip to Dubai.  Working with crystals in sync with the moon’s cycle can cut through your internal layers, releasing creative thought and gently shedding (moon)light on thoughts and patterns you need to let go of in order to pave your pathway to greatness.  Looks like Bella is aaalll over it.

Kate Hudson

When asked in an interview what’s on her bedside table, the actress and designer responded, “A crystal bowl filled with rose-quartz heart crystals that my mom gave me for Mother’s Day one year.”  It must be love, love love.

Busy Phillips

The actress and TV host was into crystals waaaay before they were cool, “I have a bunch of crystals at my house, and I’ll occasionally – if I feel like I need a Rose Quartz moment or whatever, a Rutilated Quartz or whatever – I’ll throw it in my bag.”  Follow Busy’s example and let your intuition lead you to the crystals you need on any given day.  Pick up whatever speaks to you in the moment.  You do you.

Adele

Believe it or not, Adele suffers from extreme stage fright and reportedly can’t perform without Carnelian at her side.  Known as the singer's stone, the Carnelian crystal is a warm, vibrant stone that boosts confidence and the power of true expression.  It is a stone of creativity, individuality and courage.  Get it girl.

The Kardashians

The Kardashians are never backward at coming forward re: beauty products they love. Khloe swears by a Crystal Facial Roller for her face. "I call this my 'magic wand of beauty,'" she wrote on her website, adding that the crystal helps tighten muscles and improve circulation.

And following her horrific Paris robbery, Kim K was advised to surround herself with crystals to help cleanse her space of any negative energy.  The newfound home staple also happened to inspire the bottle design for her newest fragrance, “It’s a healing crystal, I was really inspired by healing crystals after my Paris situation,” she said.

Hey, if it’s good enough for the Kardashians…

Lena Dunham

Is a regular customer of Adina Mills, a jewellery designer who crafts crystal jewellery pieces from a studio in the Mojave Desert.  Healing wearables ftw.

Madelaine Petsch

The Riverdale actress revealed to Us Magazine that she turns to crystals when she’s stressed out. “I'm very into crystals and meditation, and it's all about my brain and how my brain is feeling,” she said. Anxiety be gone!

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah confesses that her favourite indulgence is a crystal bath, “Bathing is my hobby.  I love creating bathing experiences – bath gels, bubbles, crystals, salts, lavender milks…” And what is better than a luxurious bath at the end of a long week?  Oprah knows what’s up.
