Our fifth chakra, known as the throat chakra, is (unsurprisingly) located in the throat (who would thunk it, hey?) and is responsible for allowing us to speak our inner truth.  When your throat chakra is unbalanced, you might find that you can’t articulate your thoughts clearly, leading to miscommunications and frustrations.

When this chakra is blocked, it can give us trouble expressing ourselves.  When it’s overactive, you may find yourself speaking before you think, resulting in unnecessary arguments and hurtful words.

Physically, this chakra is responsible for playing a vital role in our throat, voice and thyroid.  When it is blocked, you may notice: a sore/dry, scratchy throat, thyroid dysfunctions or tooth/gum problems.

These five crystals for the throat chakra can balance, unblock, and activate this vital energy centre, influencing truthfulness, communication, self-knowledge/expression and intuition. 

Aquamarine

Aquamarine is probably the most powerful stone for stimulating, activating and cleansing the throat chakra.  This allows for heightened courage and honest communication.
